Dementia: The Condition That Older Adults Don’t Seek Help For

According to a new study, researchers examined the screening rate for people suffering from dementia and discovered that the majority of these people never see a doctor for their mental health issues. The study, which was a part of the Health and Retirement Study, involved 845 participants who were aged 70 or older. Rare Blood Type May Increase Dementia Risk

Researchers found that one blood type is partially responsible for the development of dementia. The risk exists for only four percent of the population – the ones with the AB type, as they are more prone to developing memory problems. Preventing Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia with Vitamin D

Alzheimer’s Blood Test Research gets Major breakthrough

The British scientists have done a major advancement in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease as they have developed a blood test that can predict the onset of the disease.
