A 10-year-old girl died in a Rhode Island hospital after an unusual combination between the Enterovirus D68 and a bacterial infection. Virus-Related Paralysis in Kids Being Investigated by CDC Experts

According to a statement made on Monday by state health officials, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has been investigating at least 10 cases of virus-related paralysis in children who had tested positive for a respiratory virus.
