The Sun on Tuesday morning unleashed two high-powered X-class solar flares, offering a celestial treat for the astronomers. NASA unveils incredible footage of solar flare

US space agency NASA has unveiled an incredible video of a mid-level solar flare erupting from the sun’s surface. The footage was captured by NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory when the mid-level flair peaked at 10:05 am (EDT) on April 2. NASA’s IRIS Captures Its Largest Solar Flare

NASA’s Interface Region Imaging Spectrograph, or IRIS, witnessed the strongest solar flare on Jan. 28 at about 2:40 p.m. EST since its launch in the summer of 2013, according to the space agency.
