US Grants Refugee Status to Minors from Central American Countries

Youths from El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras, will be able to legally migrate to the U.S., Vice President Joe Biden announced on Friday. However, the measure applies to minors under the age of 21 with parents having legal residence status in the U.S. Starting with December, they can send their applications for refugee status.
