US: 1 In 25 Babies Born sooner Than Medically Justified Reason

A recent study conducted by researchers from the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, covering millions of U.S. births over 15 years, shows that nearly one in 25 U.S. babies are born too soon i.e. earlier than medically justified, through elective cesarean sections and elective induced labor. Rare mono-mono twin set entered the world holding hands together

Ohio mom Sarah Thistlewhistle received a special present from the almighty on Mother’s Day, when her rare identical twins were born healthy and holding hands on Friday. Delayed umbical chord clamping improves iron level in newborns

Researchers have found that change in pattern of handling and positioning of the newborns immediately after their birth may help in improving the use of delayed cord clamping, besides improving the iron levels in the infants.
