LAS VEGAS: Federal officials have selected sections of Utah and 10 other drought-ridden Western and Central states as primary natural disaster areas, because of a drought. Utah cop kills family before taking his own life: Police

Five members of the same family including two women and two children were found dead into mysterious conditions at their home in Spanish Fork, Utah. 34-year-old Joshua Boren is suspected to have killed his wife Kelly and mother-in-law Marie King along with his two children before shooting himself, the police said after preliminary investigation. Lawsuit against Utah ski resort over snowboarding ban

A group of snowboarders has sued a Utah resort for refusing to open its slopes to them. A lawsuit has been filed against the Alta Ski Lifts Company, which operates the Alta ski resort in Utah. The Ski Company is among the handful of resorts in the United States that allow only skiers and not the snowboarders on their slopes. Plane made emergency landing in field after engine fails

A Cessna Centurion aircraft made an emergency landing near Salt Lake International Airport Wednesday afternoon. The pilot was alone and didn’t suffer any injury. The plane came down three miles northeast of the airport reportedly because of lack of fuel, according to airport officials. Utah woman kills daughters, self after fiancé breaks up with her

A 32-year-old woman and two teenage girls were found dead under mysterious conditions at their home in Syracuse on Tuesday. According to the police officials, the woman was the mother of the two young girls who were found dead. The police believe it to be a murder-suicide case. Utah’s Avalanche survivor credits his friends for saving his life

A 28-year-old Utah man, who survived after being buried two feet inside the snow during an avalanche in Logan Canyon in southeast Idaho, thanked his fellow snowmobilers to save his life. Murder charges against a women for stabbing death near homeless shelter

A Murder charge has been filed against a woman for stabbing a man near a Salt Lake City homeless shelter. Natalie Fern Bluehouse,50, said she was intoxicated at the time of the incident. Utah Bald Eagle Day To Be Held On Feb. 9
