Mayor Ralph Becker proposes streetcar routes in Salt Lake city

Mayor Ralph Becker has proposed a plan for inter-connecting prominent localities in the central business district by introducing streetcar routes here. The plan aims to connect to the Granary District near 900 South and 200 West, linking the University of Utah via 100 South or 200 South. Utah orders slaughter of show pigs to check swine flu

Amidst the rising fear of swine flu, Utah’s veterinarian's office has issued an emergency order on Tuesday for all pigs that are exhibited at state’s fairs and livestock shows to be slaughtered after the events. Utah’s 10th grader in Doodle 4 Google nationwide competition

Utah may lose USD 307.5 million if Congress fails to pass transportation bill

Utah Fight Song comes in new shade after ASUU’s nod

The famous Utah fight song will come in a new avatar now as both houses of the Associated Students of the University of Utah (ASUU) bodies have passed the measure with a sizeable margin. Utah killer mom charged with six counts of first-degree murder

Utah woman who is accused of strangulating seven of her stillborn kids and storing their dead bodies in her home has been charged with six counts of first-degree murder. 39-year-old Megan Huntsman was being held on $6 million bail.
