Salmonella strikes again, making several companies recall their products. Poppies International has recalled their cream puffs and mini eclairs due to salmonella risk. None of the products were contaminated with the bacteria.
The one product that has salmonella risk was the powdered milk from which all of the products were made. The powdered milk supplier is Valley Mild Products. The supplier announced that there might be some problems with their product and this is why Poppies recalled their products.
The recall notice which was posted on Friday mentioned that nobody got sick from any of the products that were recalled. Also, the statement said that there is only salmonella risk and not confirmed bacteria. The only product that is suspected of having salmonella risk is the powdered milk.
The customers who purchased any of these recalled products can return the products and get a full refund for them. They are also advised to stop consuming the products. If they did eat any of the products and experience any health problems they should seek medical attention.
The customers are asked to report any problems tied to the recalled products if there are any. The products that were recalled due to salmonella risk are Poppies and Delizza mini puffs and mini eclairs. This recall came after another grocery store recalled their mini puffs and eclairs. Both Poppies International and Giant and Martin’s have the same powdered milk supplier.
People should be careful with what they eat. They should check to see if they have any recalled products at home and they should take them back to the store or throw them away. Salmonella contamination can be very dangerous. Pregnant women, older people, and young children are more sensitive and they can have worse symptoms if they get contaminated with salmonella.
These are not the only products that have been recalled. Due to salmonella risk, all of the products that contained powdered milk for Valley Milk Products were recalled. The products that were recalled include macaroni and cheese, potato chips, pancake mix, and other baking mixes. These products were recalled after Valley Milk recalled more than 3 million pounds of salmonella-contaminated powdered milk this month.
