Tech giant Microsoft has come up with its first customer preview of Office Mix.
Office Mix is a free PowerPoint 2013/Office 365 add which makes it easier to create and share presentations. The exciting application isn’t just about adding new content but it offers you much more. Just by clicking ‘Upload’, you can upload and host your presentation for free at the Mix site.
The new Microsoft application has set of new tools that will record you giving your presentations, take screenshots or record whatever happening on the desktop, draw on slides as though they were a whiteboard and add audio or video. All these multitasked tools are available from the Mix tab on the PowerPoint ribbon.
Other interesting features that can be availed directly from the Office Apps store include polls, custom quizzes, CK-12 Foundation exercises, content from Khan Academy and assorted other apps.
The analytics are like feather in the cap. You can not only track individuals on the analytics, but you can also see who watched the presentations and understand your score on the quizzes. More generally, you can see which slides were the most popular, and where viewers spent most of your time.
Office Mix can also save your presentation as an MP4 video.
