Now you can get the new Tinder experience that the platform created. Tinder just released its own app for iMessage. It is both new and familiar at the same time.
Tinder Stacks comes to surprise users of iOS with another style. No more dating, just a friendly group chat to make you decide what pair of shoes or dress to wear. Yes, Tinder is no longer the love-provider that we got used to. Now it has reinvented itself.
The thing that the company hangs on to is the swipe interface, but with another concept. Tinder Stack is made for helping people decide which photo is better and what outfit looked good on them. In order to do that, the user needs to create a stack of photos, upload them and let other people decide for him. For instance, if you don’t know what jeans to wear, you upload photos with the jeans and wait for people to swipe the photos and pick.
The swipe interface, which stays the same, also features the same criteria of evaluation. If you swipe left it means you dislike what you see, and if you swipe right you’re giving a like or a heart, as Tinder designed it.
The app is user-friendly and you don’t have to go through a lot of steps. The first step, and most important one, is to install it. After that, you have to launch Tinder in iMessage and press on the “start a stack” option. The third step is to select the photos that you want to place in that stack and add them to the slideshow. The last step consists in naming the stack and ask an appropriate question. For example, if your stack contains photos of dresses, you ask people “what dress fits best?” and let the games begin.
People will start to vote whether they like or dislike it, and you can see what they voted by tapping on the stack. This way the photos will be displayed and you will see, for every photo, the number of likes and dislikes.
“With Tinder Stacks, we’re bringing swiping to everyone, in any scenario.” Wrote the company on its blog.
From now on, the conversations on iMessage won’t be the same, they will get more interactive, helpful and fun.
What do you think about the new Tinder experience? Will you install the app?
