None of these rumors have been confirmed so far, but tech analysts have all the reasons to believe that new Apple TV sets will get released in September. Their hunches stem mainly from the fact that the company has never spent the one-hour launching in September to introduce just one product; the event has always seen the presentation of two devices.
Apple has previously announced that they will be releasing the new iPhone 6S in September, the month that has been generally assigned to this type of events. Analysts, however, think the company could also launch a new product, particularly a new generation of Apple TV sets as customers have been waiting for them for a long time.
The current Apple TV set features outdated tech specifications and the majority of the customers have agreed that they would like to see Apple introducing a new model this September. The new Apple TV set was supposed to be launched this spring during the WWDC event, but the company told the press that the launching would be delayed as a result of the licensing problems they have experienced with big television enterprises.
Customers hope Apple has managed to solve its problems by now and that they will soon be able to purchase a new model of Apple TV sets. They have also made various suppositions in relation to the features that the new prototype would have to have in order to meet the market’s needs.
Unlike the 2012 Apple TV set which sports an A5 chip, the new model should feature iPhone S6’s new A8 chip, in addition to a much slimmer and modern design. Users also believe that the internal storage of the new Apple TV set will be much bigger than the current capacity.
However, the feedback that has been obtained from customers says Apple has to change the interface of the device as it is incredibly cumbersome. So far, the only solution they could find was the use of Siri for voice commands to reduce the response rate for the requests that users make.
